Here's a new page to add to Joel's still skinny scrapbook. A relatively quick and easy layout, not to heavily embellished and some simple, casual journalling (Juju, the inspiration hit at 11 in the evening, after you left!). I picked up a rounded corner punch and some clear round epoxy dome stickers (if you can see, it's stuck on top of the word "happy") among other things (cardstock and patterned papers, adhesives and cutting mats - oh joy!) at Lincraft at 30% off last night, so I couldn't wait to put them to good use!

Here goes the journalling:

hey little man,
just a little note from me to let you know just how much i enjoy your smile. it's warm and genuine but also cheeky and full of personality.

did you know that a smile is terribly infectious? a smile gets a smile in return (most times, anyway), so you can always afford to be generous with it.

The new hobby is so enjoyable and I feel like I'm going a little bit crazy with this, but I love the feeling of being able to create physical things - and it would be SO nice to get some people to do this together with. I have so many plans and ideas for the scrapbook (for Joel, and of course, the eagerly aniticipated pea in the pod), and now Joel and I have kind of settled into some kind of predictable routine, which affords me time to do fun, creative stuff. Who knows what things will look like when we are no longer three, but four - not too far off now...

Wow B! You've been so inspired of late I feel so terribly 'inactive'. Haven't done a page in almost a month and things are looking so busy around here, it looks like it's going to be hard to get started. *Sigh* Wish you were here to do this together. :)

u're right. i think u're going a lil crazy with this as well. :P
but the things that u create with your hands; this scrapbook that you're making for joel is simply beautiful. makes me wish my mum had such creativity and hands. haha!
keep up the beautiful work. it's so personal yet open, it's inspiring.
