I was going through some old pictures in iPhoto yesterday and I found this photo: my first attempted layout in April of 2004. I was going to start my album in a 8x8 7Gypsies album. It must have taken ages just to completed that little layout - every detail painstakingly created in Illustrator: the vines, the title, the pudding birds. I especially love those birds! If I can somehow retrieve that Illustrator file in my old harddrive I should create stamps out of those birds and use them on a new layout!

I never posted this layout. I changed my mind about 8x8 and created my first layout in 12x12 instead and never looked back. It came out looking more like this and that 7Gypsies album is still empty...

I love it. Simple, but elegant. Shows the "emerging" you. love it, love it.
