They get along!
I've been a bit down over the last few days from trying to recover from a scratch in the eye. No, I don't have a cat. I have a son with fast fingers and sharp nails. This is the second time that Joel's stabbed me in the eye... funny, when I told this to the doctor, she was quite taken aback. She asked me, "why does he do that, ah?", as if she thought that my son was actually in the habit of maliciously stabbing his mother in the eye. No, he isn't. REALLY.
It's pretty difficult recovering from a scratched eye - the eye muscles go completely panicky, perpetually thinking that there is some foreign object that requries immediate expulsion. So there is a lot of tears, muscle spasms, blinking, redness, and a whole lot of swelling. Can you imagine how freaky I must look?
Thanking God, after much prayer from Terence and my mom-in-law, that my eye is doing much better today. Things are on the up and up!
I got some good scrapping done before the unfortunate injury, and I would love love love to share! :-) First two layouts were made for Scrapgal's June Newsletter.
